José C. Cabassa, M.D.
Dr. Cabassa is a board-certified neurologist, Parkinson and Movement Disorders specialist, USA Boxing, Muay Thai and MMA ringside physician, founder of Moving Brains Foundation.
He graduated from Temple School of Medicine in Philadelphia, PA, trained as a neurologist in University of Maryland/Shock Trauma/Baltimore VA medical center, received additional training in PD in Beth Israel/Mt. Sinai Union Square, Manhattan, NY and was an assistant professor of neurology at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY.
Dr. Cabassa has been treating people with PD for more than 20 years, and specializes in managing complex motor and non-motor complications. His clinical practice’s name, Moving Brains, reflects his focus on daytime mobility, function and well-being, to enhance and extend quality of life, decrease injuries and other health risks in our PD and aging community.
John Duddy
Coach John is a professional actor, athletic/boxing trainer, ex-professional boxer, former WBC Continental Americas and IBA Middleweight Champion.
Starting his amateur boxing career in his hometown, Derry, Northern Ireland, Coach John turned professional on September 2003 in New York. He retired in 2011 with a professional record of 29 wins (18 KO), 2 losses, most of his important fights occurring in Madison Square Garden.
Coach John joined Moving Brains Fight Club in December 2019, and makes the second half of our core trainers.
As an actor, he is known for A Bend in the River (2020), Emerald City (2016) and Hands of Stone (2016), with Robert De Niro. He has landed roles in short film, web series, music videos and Off-Broadway theater.
Djibril Diakite
Coach Djibril Abdul Majid Diakite is a professional boxer, athletic/boxing trainer, and sports influencer.

Alan Onickel
Alan is an internationally renowned performer, choreographer, and former dance teacher at Steps on Broadway, BDC, Alvin Ailey and Phil Black Dance Studio.

Bethina Sayegh-Flores
Born in Caracas-Venezuela and raised in Lima-Peru, Bethina began her dance career in
New York City, dancing with “Eddie Torres and his Latin Dance Company”, where she met the great Tito Puente. They shared ten years of dancing and touring all over the world, in
venues such as Madison Square Garden, the Hollywood Bowl, Miami Arena, and Roberto Clemente (P.R.). Her class is a fusion of many rhythms, which makes it a creative,
energetic and fun workout!
